Therapeutic Focus

My role is to engage in curiosity and conversations with you to uncover your challenges as well as your strengths. 

Feeling alone and invalidated can lead you to think that you are not "enough" or that things won't improve.  Increased awareness of why you experience your thoughts, feelings and experiences as you do can lead to change, hope and an increased sense of control over your life. As change occurs most often in between sessions, I also provide various types of homework tailored to you. 

I support individuals and couples as we navigate the challenges with wellbeing including relationships, stress, mental and emotional wellness, trauma and addictions.

I believe that every person is unique and that their treatment plan should always reflect this. 
I can work with you to address your concerns through the approaches that are best suited for you.

I have been trained in the following: Collaborative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Integrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing techniques.
