Who am I?
I have been providing psychotherapy for almost a decade and have found myself in helping roles for much longer. I truly believe in the importance of feeling heard, understood and supported.
I grew up in Northwest Ontario but have set new roots and started a family in Toronto where I have lived since my MSW.
I have been running my own practice for several years. Before starting my practice, I worked at a community health centre. I began to see and feel firsthand the challenges of life in a large city like Toronto for those who have relocated from smaller centres or have always lived here. Commuting can make accessing services a challenge. Many were looking for alternatives to face to face counselling due to convenience, schedule demands or well-being concerns that make it hard to leave the home.
I created Collaborative Wellness Counselling for individuals and couples to work on their wellness, relationships and goals without added barriers.
